Yang Co-Hosted MRS Spring Meeting Symposium

Yuan Yang, Assistant Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, along with Mauro Pasta from the University of Oxford, Kristin Persson from the University of California, Berkeley, and Jia Zhu from Nanjing University, organized “Symposium ES2: High-Capacity Electrode Materials for Rechargeable Energy Storage” at the Materials Research Society’s (MRS) spring meeting and exhibit which took place from April 17-21 in Phoenix, AZ.

Over 50 oral presentations and over 80 posters were presented in this symposium. Prof. Yang served as a chair for the several poster sessions, as well as for the sessions on  “Energy Storage Overview and Solid Electrolyte” and “Other Battery Materials and Systems.”
